Immersive Tech

Starting out as a brick and mortar escape room in downtown Vancouver, Immersive Tech eventually pivoted to creating custom experiences for top brands such as Intel, Capital One, eBay and more. As co-founder and art director, I managed a number of artists, designers and external contractors, but also took on tasks in a production capacity.

The following images cover work I personally created over the years.

ROLE

Art Direction, Print, Web, Brand and Presentation Design. Game Development.

WHEN

2014-2023

Using a mix of clips from various videographers we hired, I selected stock music, added transitions and other edits using Adobe Premiere. As each project often involved a variety of video content, I would at times assist with making edits, adding sound and visual effects to videos.

ART DIRECTION

As Art Director, my responsibilities often included working with the client to understand their goals, and how to translate that into clear directives for our team. In managing the team, I maintained quality standards and also kept production requirements in mind as we often had to work with multiple external vendors. Depending on the project, I would then also be present on-site to assist with setup and/or application of print, signage and help trouble shoot digital game content.

These are a selection of the various projects I acted as Art Director on. For more details, view Case Studies.

Intel - one of 50 global training events across six continents for management executives.

Capital One - at the Capital One offices with a custom campus recruitment experience.

Leaps by Bayer - a custom adventure within a 40’ shipping container at Boston’s Hubweek.

eBay - a fake pop-up retail store created in downtown New York City just before Black Friday.
