OVERVIEW
To highlight how holiday shopping in-person can be a huge pain, eBay decided the best way would be to have a fake department store.
Fake signage was made for prices, different departments, posters and even the ‘walls’ of the store through large format printing.
A modified touchscreen was used as a fake cash register, containing a custom Unity game. As players scanned the right items, televisions elsewhere in the space would update with their progress.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Established art style guidelines.
Prepared and presented progress to agency partner and eBay team.
Interviewed and hired both internal and external artists.
Directed video production team on filming requirements from a narrative and visual perspective.
Managed 2D production of Unity games.
Coordinated print asset production.
Coordinated between external vendors for large format printing.
Produced various graphics.
